It’s crazy how much my skin is changing at 32.. the last couple of years has shown me How much less forgiving my skin is 😭
Loved this overview! Super helpful 🙌🏽🥂
Thank you for doing this. I just turned 30 and lately I am struggling with rosacea and with sulfur my skin deal great.
This is perfect! I'm 40, started a skincare a few years but fell off now I'm trying to get back into it. There are so many brands it's overwhelming
I must be lucky bc I am just now experiencing everything you are discussing in my mid 40s. Or, Maybe I am just now noticing…Thank you for all you do for us!
I am very glad as someone who is 36 that I seem to be doing all of the right things for my skin. My skin has gone on a journey the past few years and I have finally found a routine that seems to work great. I also had no idea that getting rosacea in your 30s was very normal I just sort of developed it in my early 30s and had no idea why when I never had it before.
Im leaving this comment at 2:30 of my birthday. Born in 94 so yeah i just turned 30
i just love watching you guys and going along the journey. i'm turning 40-1!
It’s like a credit card. Until we hit our 30’s we’re on our spending spree. Our 30’s are time to pay the bill.
I’m 50 and looking back, I think your 30’s are when you get to “later”.
When we’re teenagers and through our 20’s we likely: eat what we want, drink as much alcohol as we want, are not as disciplined with sunscreen and skincare, may tan, and all the other things.
We also don’t see serious consequences yet and so those behaviors can be like “wash, rinse, repeat”. Doctors will tell you to use sunscreen, watch what you eat, get plenty of rest, and exercise. We just think “yeah, sure. I’ll worry about that later.”
Your 30’s are “Hi! Welcome to later!!” Now we pay for what we didn’t do before. We now don’t get to put off the results of our current bad habits. They’re going to be apparent within days or weeks. It can be a rude (and potentially expensive) awakening but it’s not too late for good habits to set us up for healthy aging.
Hi doctor, can you speak about korean products and skin care?
Dr. Shah, have you tried Japanese hair color/dye shampoo? If you are allergic to traditional hair dye maybe that can be an alternative for you. It is gentle and has more natural ingredients. My mom has sensitive skin and is currently doing chemo and uses hair color shampoo without experiencing any negative side effects. She is using the brand OKAMI. The gray coverage isn’t 100% though. At least for my mom it isn’t.
U a awesome !
My skin just will not get used to retinols. I’ve tried once a week. Every two weeks. It’s just extremely drying and my skin takes a long time to recover. I’ve about given up on it.
We need a video on the best procedures to get done at 30 + ☺️
What are your thoughts on the naturium retinal? I'd like to try it and see if I can get even better results with this than my usual retinol product, but want to make sure I'm using a quality product. Thanks!
I love this!
I don't know if you start taking care of your skin for real in your 30s you could have bettwr skin than in your 20s
Unglaublich 😢
My favorite hobby is watching Doctorly channel and learning about skin care. I’m 44 now and I started taking care of my skin back in college when I was struggling with active acne, scars, dark spots… But for some reason now days my skin turned super sensitive and also developed nasal allergies. So every single product I try just makes worse my sensitivity and my allergies.
33 here but looks like 20 😑
