This sounds more like preference, cuz I've never seen anyone do it like this.. it makes sense what she's saying..but honestly just sounds like an extra step for no reason, cuz when u blend it to the nail it's like two or three back n forth with the file n your good.. so y do it off the client, and then u might mess up the part that's closes to the sidewall js
