Skincare Tips | Dry and Sensitive Skin

My skincare tips and product recommendations for dry skin types. Obviously I’m not a dermatologist or anything, these are just some things I have learnt through experience and from various pharmacy trainings at my work 🙂

When I was taking accutane I used all these products on my body, but mainly just a serum and moisturiser on my face. I didn’t want to use too many products, rather just let the medication do it’s thing. However if you have dry skin for other reasons, I would definitely recommend following this whole routine and i’m sure you will see an improvement in your skin.

  1. thank you so much for the tips. I actually have a very similar situation and i just started accutane today. Did you use the cleansing balm on your back? I dont think i can get that brand in the US i got a cleansing oil but it doesnt seem like it woul work well in the shower.

  2. Great video, it was really helpful, thank you! A couple products I use for dry skin is Shea Moisture African Black Soap body lotion and Yes To Tomatoes facial wipes. The body lotion is amazing, it has shea butter, oats, aloe, and vitamin E and it feels really moisturizing on the skin. Slightly oily, but it might be because I don't use it much during the spring/summer but more during winter when I get more dry. It's really natural and doesn't use all the typical synthetic ingredients found in unnatural products. Love it 😀 Actually, I love a lot of the Shea Moisture products lol. Yes To Tomatoes wipes helps with my acne prone and dry skin because it doesn't sting when i use it and when i leave it on for a bit, I think I actually feel the tomato doing its job protecting me from getting acne! I use it with a makeup remover – Garnier Clean makeup removing lotion cleanser. You don't use it with water, so it helps. It dissolves your makeup and it's good for sensitive skin because it doesn't sting or have unnatural ingredients overwhelming your skin. I wipe it off with the Yes To Tomatoes wipe and it works best together I think 😀 Really great products! Obviously it will be different from person to person, but I just wanted to share my experience 🙂 Anyway, thanks again for the video, I plan on trying some of these out :D

  3. Hi! Have you ever hear anyone talk about – Minkunus Acne Recovery Plan (do a google search)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my aunt told me about great results from it. I was totally sold. I even told my neighbor.

  4. Have you tried Jojoba oil? I use it for my eczema and I haven't had any eczema flair ups. It's also great for your hair. I mix it with water in a spray bottle and spray it all of my body after I wash up.

  5. I am just wondering I have very dry sensitive skin and I can't find a cheap foundation that is medium to full coverage what do you think are some good ones to try. I have very pale skin and find it hard to find a correct match.

  6. BLESSSSS YOU I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS SINCE I STARTED MY TOPICAL RETINOID <33333

  7. Skincare companies want as many individuals as possible to try their new products to show why they are worth buying.
Have you ever seen a cosmetics section set-up in your neighbourhood mall offering free test products?
Well you must check out this website that will send Free trials to your home, its the best way to get free skin products 🙂

  8. Bit late to the party but this has been the most helpful dry skin video. I'm also on accutane AND live in Australia so it's nice to see some quality products that are readily available. I've been struggling with dry skin on the accutane level for months now. I'll definitely be giving your suggestions a go. Thanks!
