I had the same thing happen with a "natural organic" moisturiser from another brand, it got little green dots in it after like 4 months when the label said it should be good for 6 months. I was so disgusted, washed my face a bunch of times and threw it away. Now I always make sure to buy things with preservatives. That particular product has been discontinued so I guess it was formulated wrong, cause I have other products from the same brand that are no problem.
Late to the party… I'm not sure I have commented on your videos before but I like them. I was going to purchase the blue tansy cream as I was really interested in it, but in the reviews I kept reading of complaints of it getting moldy super quick, and that worried me instantly! I would not want to cover my face and be breathing in mold spores or anything else.
I used to really fall for the "natural" marketing but glad I have started doing more research as I have gotten older, and being more open minded about how cosmetics and beauty products are made.
I really like watching your videos – they're very interesting.
Could you please do a video about the chemicals in deodorants? I’m so conflicted about it!
I want it to be cruelty free and vegan. I don't really want natural, as they might have used something foral, that my allergy will react to
honestly i skip 'natural' and 'vegan' cosmetics products. i think they do not have enough control on what goes in and vegan synthetic coloring might trigger alergies. i prefer carmine. best case scenario it does nothing to my skin. my focus is less fragrance plus analysing ingredients.
For me, I care if its cruelty free. And actually, if I was going to have a horrible reaction to something it would be something natural, not something synthetic and made in a lab. Nature is dangerous!!🤣🤣🤣 And clean? But…….we actually need formaldehyde to produce new DNA and it's in the atmosphere soooooo……I mean, sure, you dont need it in your skin care, but you also dont need to demonize it either. And chemicals? Well, I'm a chemical, my phone is a chemical, the air I breathe, the food I eat, the ground I walk on, my dog, and my dog's leash……everything is made up of the chemical elements. Everything. I mean, you know that, but I dont think people realize what chemical means.
I actually really, really loathe the term “natural”. It’s so uninformative and basically just marketing hype. “Clean” is a sucky term, too. Both annoy me just as much as the demonization of “chemicals”. 🙄Fear mongering is exactly how I see it.
I care a lot about purchasing from brands that do not test on animals. I also like to buy from small companies. But this issue is exactly why that can be challenging.
