I always use coconut oil instead of olive oil, because I feel like it makes my brushes softer, and it smells a lot nicer than olive oil because whenever I've used olive oil on my brushes I can always smell it left over on the bristles when I'm using my brushes. :/ I still only use a little bit though, just like I would if I was using olive oil, because it can make your brushes oily also if you use too much!

As a drying rack, I use the panoramic cases that some of the sets of real techniques brushes come with. I just hang them upside down on that.
