  5. <SIGH>……..green and blue kohl don't come from gemstones.. first becasue it would be impossible to mix them with water or ointment even if you grind them into tiny sand particles AND not to mention EXTREMELY dangerous to apply sharp grinded crystals on your eyes!! green kohl came from malachite which is obviously a "mineral" than a "crystalline". and i am pretty sure there wasn't a "blue" kohl
